Second Night of Music Festival Rocks

The second night of the annual music festival at St Edmund Arrowsmith was a vibrant celebration of live music, bringing together talented singers, skilled instrumentalists, and energetic rock bands.

The evening featured a diverse lineup, with vocalists delivering powerful performances that captivated the audience from the start. Backing them were musicians on bass guitar and electric guitar, adding depth and intensity to each set. The combination of strong vocals and dynamic instrumentation created an electric atmosphere throughout the night.

Rock bands performed as the event progressed, showcasing a mix of classic influences and modern sounds. Their performances were marked by driving rhythms, impressive guitar solos, and tight coordination between band members. The crowd responded enthusiastically.

Special thanks were given to guest adjudicators Phillippa Samuel, Teacher of Music at St John Rigby, and Ann Morgan, Deputy Headteacher, for their support and expertise. Appreciation was also extended to former pupils Jude Daniels and Jake Hickson for their excellent performances including Jesse Quilliam a Year 6 pupil from St Aiden's Primary School.

Headteacher Mr Dumican thanked the music department and staff for their dedication and enthusiasm in organising such a special night.

The festival continues to highlight the musical talent within the community, offering a platform for both emerging and experienced performers. The second night proved to be a memorable experience, leaving attendees looking forward to future events.
